Who am I?

Hello! My name is Tania and I’m from Cincinnati, Ohio. In May 2020, I (virtually) graduated Summa Cum Laude from the The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) with my BSD in Visual Communication Design with a Research Distinction.

Since then, thanks to navigating post-grad life during a pandemic, I have bounced around the country and explored what design looks like in various industries. I spent some time working in Home Textiles, Sports, and have now landed in Higher Education. I was working as a graphic designer on marketing teams through all of this though, which inspired me to pursue a marketing degree. In December of 2024, I graduated as Valedictorian of my cohort at Full Sail University with my Master’s in Digital Marketing. Additionally, I possess a Google Analytics Certification and have been designated an Adobe Certified Professional in Graphic Design using Adobe Illustrator.

I'm currently serving as the lead graphic designer for Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, TX. In this role I oversee a junior graphic designer and am responsible for creation of in-brand designs for internal and external use for the college (and it’s many departments). So far, this has ranged from logo creation to printed collateral to large scale wraps and environmental graphics. I have also won awards for design work done for the college.

And because I just can’t get enough marketing in my life, outside of work, I am serving as the Marketing Chair on the Board for Young Professionals of the Coastal Bend. When I’m off my laptop, I love all things outdoors, photography, and traveling. Growing up, my family had a rule that we never visited anywhere twice. Because of that, I’ve been privileged enough to see and experience so many different environments, cultures, places and people. I’ve been everywhere from a remote village in the arctic circle to bustling cities like Paris, but I still have so much left to see! My travels and experiences serve as a constant inspiration and motivation. Just for fun, let’s play two truths and a lie…I have hiked up Mount Vesuvius, viewed the northern lights from an igloo, and rappelled off a castle in Italy. Which do you think I haven't done (yet)?
